I with 13 othr vision impaired persons will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. My good mate Vic will be my sighted guide. This I find a wonderful challange for both of us. Vic has the determination to be prepared and willingness to have a go at something as challanging as this climb. To some people a climb like Kilimanjaro may be a run in the park. However, I feel for us it will be something we won't forget for a long time. Vic and I have already started on the preperation trail. Climbing Mt Coot-tha the week before last. Utilising Jacobs Ladder in Spring Hill. Now I am on the hunt for an escolator that does not have a great deal of walking traffic on the weekends. This I am sure I will find.
